Am frühen Donnerstagabend brannte ein landwirtschaftliches Ökonomiegebäude bis auf die Grundmauern nieder, eine Anwohnerin wurde leicht verletzt.
Donnerstagabend gegen 17:45 Uhr wurden mehrere Feuerwehren zu einem Aussiedlerhof bei Überlingen-Lippertsreue alarmiert. Beim Eintreffen der ersten Einsatzkräfte stand das Gebäude bereits im Vollbrand. In dem Gebäude befanden sich zu diesem Zeitpunkt mehrere landwirtschaftliche Maschinen und Tierfuttermittel.
Beide Nachbargebäude konnten gehalten werden
Mit einer Riegelstellung konnte das Übergreifen der Flammen auf ein Wohngebäude, sowie auf ein weiteres Nebengebäude, verhindert werden. Für die benötigte Menge an Wasser reichten die Tankinhalte der wasserführenden Fahrzeuge und der einen Zysterne vor Ort nicht aus. Es wurde eine Wasserförderung über eine lange Wegstrecke aufgebaut.
Gegen 18:30 Uhr stürzte das Gebäude ein. Um daraufhin noch an die Glutnester zu kommen, wurde ein Bagger eingesetzt, der Dachteile und Bauschutt auseinander zog.

Die Löscharbeiten zogen sich bis Freitagvormittag hin, zu Spitzenzeiten waren 105 Einsatzkräfte an der Einsatzstelle tätig.
Um das Melken der Kühe des Milchviehbetriebs in den Nebengebäuden gewährleisten zu können, wurde noch in der Nacht eine Notstromversorgung durch den zuständigen Energieversorger aufgebaut.
Die Brandursachenermittlung wurde durch die Kriminalpolizei aufgenommen. Bisher konnte keine Brandursache mitgeteilt werden. Eine Anwohnerin verletzte sich leicht, über die Art der Verletzung ist nichts bekannt. Der Schaden wird im sechsstelligen Bereich geschätzt.
